inner and outer journeys

Fall has brought crisp clear nights, relief from the heat, and dark mornings.

A trip to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and a chilly night's viewing of Thorton Wilder's Our Town reminds me to live fully, really give attention to loved ones, and truly see the beauty of our world.

If you're in Sonoma in October, join me at Readers Books for a discussion of Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird.  This book is great reading for near Halloween, with leaves blowing along the sidewalks and gates creaking in the breeze.  Come bring your opinions to share about Atticus, Jem and Scout, and Boo Radley.

And if you haven't already, take a minute to subscribe to Write Free, a bimonthly newsletter about living your best creative life, based on Write Free, the book co-authored with Jordan E. Rosenfeld

Enjoy the autumn!
